Dr Christine Chan

Dr Chan is currently a Senior Consultant Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist in Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Breast Cancer Institute NSW. She has completed two years post graduate fellowships in Interventional Radiology and Breast Imaging in Sydney. 

Dr Chan has special interest in Interventional Oncology, Phlebology and Interventional Radiology treatment for Women and Breast Imaging. She regularly participates in the multidisciplinary team meeting and provides various minimally invasive treatments of liver, lung and kidney tumours including ablation, intra-arterial chemotherapy/radioembolisation therapies (credentialed for delivery of SIR-Spheres, DC beads, TACE, Microwave, RFA and Cryoablation). She also performed various endovascular surgery and venous intervention including central lines, portacaths, renal dialysis fistula maintenance, varicocele treatment and varicose veins treatment including venous ablation and sclerotherapy

She is passionate in female interventional procedures including Uterine Artery Embolisation for fibroids and adenomyosis and treatment of Pelvic Congestion Syndrome.  

Dr Chan is a clinical lecturer for Sydney University, University of New South Wales and an appointed IMG assessor for The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
