Dr Ambati is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and completed his general radiology training at St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney. He then undertook subspecialty fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at the University of Alberta followed by a second fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at McGill University Health Centre.

 

He currently specialises in general Interventional Radiology with special interest in musculoskeletal interventions, urological and hepatobiliary interventions, deep organ biopsies and peripheral vascular disease.

 

Dr Ambati currently works as a VMO at St Vincent's hospital and will occasionally provide holiday/leave cover at the SAN.
